Glenavon's game in the Danske Bank Premiership tomorrow has been postponed following an outbreak of COVID-19 in the Crusaders camp.

Last week the Shore Road men had games against Carrick Rangers and Ballyclare Comrades called off, but there seemed to be uncertainty right up until yesterday about whether Gary Hamilton's men would have to make the trip to north Belfast.

However, this morning Mourneview Park club confirmed the game was off.

They said that they had received correspondence last night (Thursday) from the NI Football League which said that “an Independent Panel appointed by the NI Football League considered Crusaders FC appeal of their case under Article 3 of the NIFL COVID-19 Case Policy.”

Their correspondence added, “Taking into the account all of the information provided by Crusaders FC, the Panel has considered this appeal and made an informed recommendation which is to accede to Crusaders FC request.”

No new date has been confirmed for the fixture
