Craigavon City coach Ryan Gilmore hailed the club's supporters for being their twelfth man during the Alan Wilson Cup final.

The Craigavon side were creating history on Friday night, winning their first Intermediate trophy following a short period in existence.

They got over the line against a very strong Dromore outfit.

Following a draw at the end of the game, City ran out winners on penalties which led to jubilant scenes from their 400 plus fans who brought possibly the biggest support to a Mid Ulster fixture for many years.

Ryan Gilmore commented, "Our fans were superb from start to finish, as were all of our players. The fans lifted us over the line."
