Armagh could meet an Ulster rival in the All Ireland qualifiers which will be drawn following the provincial finals.

Even a potential clash with Clare or Mickey Harte's Louth side would be difficult for the Orchard outfit.

Limerick and certainly Meath would also pose huge problems for Kieran McGeeney's side.

With a possible likelihood that nine sides would be in the hat, facing the big guns like Tyrone, Derry, Monaghan, Tyrone or Mayo would certainly get the pulses racing for the fans.

With no county players expected to bee seen in an orange jersey until after the county leave the All-Ireland stage, fans can expect the clubs to limp through the season, with promotion or relegation issues in some cases being decided on the availability of county players.
