The case was heard at Craigavon Magistrates' Court.
A Portadown man has pleaded guilty to being in possession of a Class B controlled drug.
The case of Jonathan Pollock, (28), of Oakwood Place, was heard at Craigavon Courthouse on Friday, September 3.
The court heard that on January 14 this year, officers received a report of a criminal damage and located two males a short distance away.
After a search of the defendant, a small amount of cannabis was detected in his possession with Pollock making full admissions.
In his defence, the court was told that this was Pollock’s first drug offence but that he has taken steps to eradicate his use.
District Judge Bernie Kelly imposed a £250 fine and a destruction order for the drug.
