A Craigavon man is to face Crown Court proceedings next month in relation to fifteen counts of making indecent photographs of a child.
Dale Wiseman, (49), of William Street, appeared at Craigavon Courthouse on Wednesday, January 12 for the purposes of a preliminary enquiry – the legal process during which a case is referred to the higher court.
Wiseman faces an allegation of making 15 indecent photographs of a child between April 5, 2018 to November 9, 2018.
Furthermore, the defendant is accused of possessing 229 indecent photographs of a child on November 8, 2018.
Prosecution submitted that based on the papers before the court there was a prima facie case to answer.
Defence counsel made no contrary submissions.
District Judge Greg McCourt, satisfied there was a prima facie case to answer, released the defendant on bail on the same terms to appear at Craigavon Crown Court on February 15.
