A new football club has been set up in Lurgan with the aim of supporting dads and other bereaved family members who have been affected by the loss of a baby.
It is hoped that through SANDS United FC and a common love of sport, fathers and family members will be able to experience an environment where they can feel at ease and not alone in their grief.
It is not a club that anyone would choose to be part of, but members of the newly-formed team will stand shoulder to shoulder in wearing their shirts with pride.
The club welcomes players of all abilities and fitness levels and anyone interested in being part of SANDS United FC Lurgan is invited to send their Facebook page a message.
Johnny McNabb spoke to David Webb, one of the founders of SANDS United FC Lurgan. He suffered grief when his baby son Christopher passed away. He's been telling his story to Your Lurgan and all about the new team.
