Stole almost £800 of goods from Tesco and The Range

Pre-sentence reports are to be prepared after two high-value shoplifting thefts on the same day were accepted.

Julie Mary Larkin (43) from Garvaghy Road, Portadown admitted stealing household items totalling £263 from Tesco, Craigavon on 19 August 2021.

On the same day she stole £536.22 of similar items from The Range, Portadown.

A defence lawyer told Craigavon Magistrates Court a pre-sentence report would be helpful and District Judge Bernie Kelly agreed, particularly given the sums of money involved.

Larkin was ordered to return for sentencing on 22 June.
