A 40-year-old woman is to contest three separate counts of shoplifting from the same store last year.

In order of alleged occurrence, Helen Carson from Kernan Hill Manor, Portadown is accused of stealing £58.50 in various goods on 28 September 2021.

Days later on 1 October she allegedly stole £20.19 in goods and on 28 October stole £290.56, also in various goods.

All offences are alleged to have occurred at Tesco, Craigavon.

A defending lawyer entered not guilty pleas to all charges on his client’s behalf at Craigavon Magistrates Court. District Judge Bernie Kelly listed a contest for hearing on 20 May.
