Waringstown will begin their push for the NCU Men’s Gallagher Challenge Cup with a home tie against Armagh.

The draw was made recently for the competition which sees the three local sides involved receiving home ties.

Waringstown, who were dumped out of last year’s competition for playing an ineligible player against Derriaghy, will enter the competition in the second round.

There are first round ties for Lurgan, who have been paired with Dundrum, and Donaghcloney Mill, who will host Bangor.

The full draw is as follows:

Round One: Ballymena v Templepatrick, Donacloney Mill v Bangor, Lurgan v Dundrum, Saintfield v Muckamore

Round Two: Cliftonville Academy v CIYMS, Cregagh v Saintfield/Muckamore, CSNI v Ballymena/Templepatrick, Instonians v Norh Down, Lisburn v Donacloney Mill/Bangor, Lurgan/Dundrum v Derriaghy, Waringstown v Armagh, Woodvale v Carrickfergus

No dates have yet been fixed for either round.

The women's Gallagher Challenge Cup is to take on a round robin format to determine the finalists with the six competing clubs divided into two groups. Lurgan and Waringstown have been paired with holders CSNI with the other group comprising of North Down, Muckamore and Carrickfergus.

Meanwhile, in the Junior Cup, Victoria will travel to Lisburn II in round one while Donaghcloney Mill II host their counterparts from North Down.

Waringstown II join the competition in round two, where they will host Cooke Collegians.

The draw in full is as follows:

Round one: (A) Lisburn II v Victoria, (B) Laurelvale v Drumaness Superkings, (C) Belfast v Larne, (D) Donacloney Mill II v North Down II.

Round two:  winners of C v winners of B, Monaghan v winners of A, CIYMS II v Donaghadee & Ards, winners of D v Downpatrick, CSNI II v Holywood, Instonians II v Muckamore II, BISC v Dunmurry, Waringstown II v Cooke Collegians.
