Superb away win for Lurgan in season opener

Lurgan's bowlers brought five rinks to North Belfast team Forth River in a pre-season friendly and played exceptionally well to record a magnificent 48-shot win with wins all rinks.

Rink of the day was Ronan Cregan’s which came home with an excellent 24-3 victory.

Sam McCombes’ rink had a very good 19-9 win which was matched by Alan Roberts’ 18-9; and a 15-11 advantage by John Gilliland’s rink with Mike Parr’s hard fought 12-8.
