Lurgan U14 have marched on to the semi-final of the Ulster Carpet Cup with a good solid win against a good Letterkenny side at Pollock Park on Saturday morning.
A great day for running rugby and thankfully dry, the spectators watched a very physical and high energy game with both teams throwing everything at it and trying to win.
Lurgan showed that extra touch of skill in their core skills moving the ball well and mixing it up in the tight and out wide to score some fantastic try’s. Many thanks to Letterkenny for the game and safe journey home.
Massive credit goes to the referee for a fantastic game and allowed the game to flow and officiated what was a great game.
Dylan Byrne was named a deserved player of the match.
