Lurgan Cricket Club’s ladies’ team has a new 1st XI coach.

Former Ireland international captain, Anne Morrow, has taken over the coaching duties from Callum Gibson, who has had to cut back on his duties due to work commitments.

Anne has over 60 one day international caps, including appearances at two World Cups, as well as representing her country at Test Match level.

A new 2nd XI team has also been set up, which will be coached by Neil Hinds.

Training is currently taking place each Wednesday evening at South Lake Leisure Centre between 6pm and 8pm.

Any new players wishing to join can contact any of the girls or call/message Geoff Maxwell at 07710 416221.
